Niezbędnik filmowy LET’S DOC

The LET’S DOC Film Guide provides a set of methodological tips for teaching in grades 4-8 of primary schools and in secondary schools. It is based on short documentary films that were showcased during the second edition of the LET’S DOC Documentary Film Festival for Young Audiences, and these films are now available on VOD Warszawa.

These provide ready-to-use inspiration for teachers of Polish language, ethics, WOD, WDŻ, biology, geography, physical education, and homeroom classes. We encourage educators to discover the teaching and methodological opportunities presented by short documentary films, which not only serve an educational purpose but also help cultivate and deepen students’ social and emotional skills.

The publication was developed by Anna Równy, a film educator, film education trainer, and a graduate of the doctoral program at the Department of Film Studies and Audiovisual Culture at the University of Gdańsk. She is also the program coordinator for the NHEF and works in the Film Education Department at the WDK in Kielce.

The publication is accompanied by a webinar titled “LET’S DOC Film Guide in School Practice”. The webinar will be held on October 23rd at 6:00 PM online on the Teams platform.

The publication is co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.
