From the animals’ perspective | “And a Happy New Year” 10+

March 22, 2025 (Saturday), 10:00 AM

We invite you to a family film workshop held as part of the LET’S DOC Documentary Film Festival for Young Audiences.

Join us for a workshop inspired by the film And a Happy New Year, directed by Sebastian Mulder. Together, we will explore how New Year’s Eve traditions affect animals and the world around us. We will delve into the concept of perspective—both technically and narratively—trying to see the world through the eyes of animals. Perspective in storytelling refers to the point of view from which a story is told, shaping how it is perceived. During this workshop, we will attempt to adopt the animals’ perspective and create short comics depicting New Year’s Eve from their point of view.
