In the 1990s, eight-year-old Agata leaves Poland and moves to Belgium, entering a completely foreign and unfamiliar world. The bus journey alongside other migrants proves to be full of challenges. Noise, crowds, and a sense of otherness awaken in the girl a longing for what is familiar and safe. Migration, seen from a child’s perspective, becomes a story about growing up, shaping identity, and searching for one’s place in a new world. This moving, delicately emotional animated film highlights the strength of a child’s imagination and spirit in coping with the difficulties of migration.
