The oldest group from Kindergarten No. 14 in Wrocław is preparing to stage a Nativity play. What seems like innocent rehearsals quickly reveals small conflicts, children’s dreams, and questions that go beyond the simple roles of shepherds, Joseph, or angels. The Nativity play becomes a pretext for conversations about sins and fears. The film presents the world from the perspective of six-year-olds, filled with sincere emotions and unexpected reflections. “The Performance” is a warm and humorous animation that captures the moment when small dramas meet big questions.
