Dead as a Dodo

“We will all end up as a pile of worms,” says the young protagonist of the film. The students of a small Dutch school have many serious questions. Why do people die? What happens to us after death? Together, they attend gardening classes, where, while weeding beds and planting vegetables, they try to unravel at least some of life’s mysteries. One thing turns out to be absolutely certain: we are all part of nature.
