A coming-of-age story about the desire for acceptance from parents. Mikołaj stands on the threshold of adulthood, but before he begins his independent life, he wants to repair his relationship with his father, who does not accept his transition. Piotr sees his son’s transgender identity as a “phase” or a temporary fascination, continuing to use his daughter’s name. In this moving family story, the camera becomes a tool that helps foster mutual understanding.
