Why do so many young Africans dream of leaving for Europe? Are they aware of the dangers of the journey and the harsh reality that may await them there? We follow the stories of several young people in Senegal: Mariatou, an 18-year-old girl trying to find a way to reach Europe; Arfy, a young fisherman; and Aliou, who relies on the internet to finance his journey.

The documentary portrays a generation fully aware of the racism present in Europe, the new forms of colonialism that exploit the resources of their country, and the feminist aspirations of girls demanding greater freedom.
