Teenage Wasteland

1991, upstate New York. A group of rebellious high school students, inspired by their teacher, start a school film project and accidentally uncover a huge scandal — toxic waste is poisoning the ground beneath their feet. The young people confront indifferent adults, corrupt politicians, and even the mafia. As a result, they create a report that shakes their entire community.

Youth on the Dump is a story about youth activism, based on hundreds of hours of honest, funny, and nostalgic video footage.
