„LET’S DOC Film Guide in School Practice”. Webinar on October 23!

Join us for a one-hour webinar, “LET’S DOC Film Guide in School Practice”, which will take place on October 23 at 6:00 PM on the Teams platform.

The occasion for this meeting is the release of a new free resource for teachers, prepared by Anna Równy and published by the Andrzej Wajda Centre for Film Culture.

LET’S DOC Film Guide

The LET’S DOC Film Guide is a collection of teaching guidelines designed for lessons in grades 4-8 of primary schools and secondary schools, based on short documentary films featured during the second edition of the LET’S DOC Documentary Film Festival for Young Audiences, now available on VOD Warszawa.

These are ready-made inspirations for teachers of Polish language, ethics, WOS, WDŻ, biology, geography, physical education, and for class meetings. The author will discuss the aims and potential of the publication, as well as the teaching and methodological opportunities offered by short documentary films, which not only fulfill a cognitive function but also contribute to the development and deepening of students’ social-emotional competencies.
