Visegrad Audiovisual LAB Launches the International Day of Audiovisual Education

On August 27, 2025, all four Visegrad countries will host the International Day of Audiovisual Education – a special event dedicated to everyone shaping the field of audiovisual media and education. From teachers, lecturers, and educators to institutions, cultural centres, and media professionals, all are invited to join.

Expect a friendly, informal atmosphere with an inspiring international guest, opportunities to connect and plenty of space for open exchange. The day will showcase hands-on examples of good practice and tested educational methodologies from across the V4 region – all with a strong focus on audiovisual education and production for young audiences.

More information coming soon — keep an eye on the websites and social media channels of the organizing partners.

The initiative is led by krutón (Czechia), in close partnership with the National Film Institute – Film Archive (Hungary), the Wajda Film Centre (Poland) and Kino Úsmev (Slovakia).

The project is co-financed by the governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from the International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
