Future Council

Millions of children around the world feel frustrated by the dramatic lack of action to protect the planet and their own future. Until now, the only way to express these concerns has been through street protests. Director Damon Gameau, who is also one of the protagonists of the film, takes eight children on an extraordinary journey across Europe in a school bus powered by biofuel to help them better understand the climate crisis and possible solutions.

During the trip, the young participants move the conversation about climate from the streets to the offices of the world’s largest corporations, creating a council that aims to influence environmental decisions. This inspiring and energetic story shows a journey toward responsibility and the courage to imagine a brighter future.
