Last Song from Kabul

The melodies fell silent when the Taliban took over Afghanistan. Playing music became prohibited, and even death penalties were threatened for it. Young girls who played together at a music school must confront its closure. This means their world is about to be destroyed – music is everything they have. The film portrays their heroic story and escape from Afghanistan to Portugal, where they will try to rebuild their shattered lives and start playing music again.
