We invite you to a psychoeducational workshop inspired by the film “Echo” directed by Emi Buchwald. This poignant story explores the struggles of teenagers facing speech disorders and social rejection. Through shared reflection and film analysis, we will delve into themes of shame, self-acceptance, and finding one’s voice.
The workshop will provide a space to discuss emotions, discover self-worth, and navigate challenges in relationships with others. Together, we will analyze the role of courage and support in building self-acceptance. We will reflect on what it means to love oneself and how to harness personal passions to find authentic inner strength.

Ania and Bartek are two teenagers breaking through the universal barriers of shame. Struggling with speech disorders and rejected by their peers, they attend therapy to learn self-acceptance. They explore their identities through dance and singing, sharing their deepest feelings. The two protagonists take a brave step to prove their self-worth and embrace self-love.
“Echo” is a black-and-white story brimming with color and emotion, resonating deeply with the most delicate aspects of the human experience.

Workshop Facilitator:
Anna Kozioł – psychologist supporting children, adolescents, and parents; social skills trainer, psychoeducator, coach, and lecturer. She provides individual consultations, therapeutic groups, and workshops for parents and teachers. Anna specializes in assisting children facing various developmental challenges, including emotional and social difficulties, anxiety, selective mutism, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and mood disorders. She is a member of the Polish Psychological Association (PTP) and teaches developmental psychology at SWPS University.
